Mission of the project

The project is aimed at increasing the attention of youth to Russian football, the development of physical fitness for youth, the development of a healthy lifestyle, increasing the discipline of the youth fan movement.

Features of the project

Modeling the world's largest leagues and international football competitions in a "game form", when a lot of amateur teams are organized in a competitive football environment under the guise of well-known teams and national teams of European, American and other countries. (The names of teams and countries are combined with the original names of specific persons participating in competitions.) Providing a convenient, inexpensive, interesting and sports-competitive base for amateur football of that group of youth and middle-aged people who either had a "football past" or there is a calculation for the "football future" of the amateur level.

Background of the project

The history of the League begins in May 2008, when two students organized a friendly match between the fans of "Roma" and "Inter". Inspired by the idea, the players told their friends, the fans of other clubs, and a month later the first championship of 8 Italian teams started.

At the end of the summer, the enthusiasm of the fans led to an increase in the number of participants. In autumn there were already 28 teams, and by the beginning of next year - about 40.

At the same time, naturally, geography expanded: in the period from 2010 to 2014, four federations were formed in the League: England, Germany, Spain and Italy. In place of initial enthusiasm, the organization, regulations, management system, marketing elements, etc., inevitably had to come. This required the organizers of new qualities and a new policy for the development of the league, so in early 2014, an ambitious team of organizers appeared.

Over the past year and a half, the number of participants only in Moscow has grown 5-fold (more than two hundred teams). A branch was opened in St. Petersburg, wh ere four federations were initially recruited, with a total of 60 teams. Then Ekaterinburg followed. Play and work in the Amateur League people of different age categories, from schoolchildren to retired people.
